Text to CAD: describe it, get a real model
Grovec turns a sentence into a real CAD model — authored geometry, a live bill of materials, and a one-click export to professional formats. No menus, no part libraries to memorize.
What “text to CAD” actually means here
Most “AI CAD” tools generate a picture or an untextured mesh you can’t build from. Grovec is different: the Brain authors a real feature-tree model — sketches, extrudes, revolves, fillets, joints — the same primitives a CAD engineer uses. The result is a parametric model with dimensions you can change, not a static blob.
Because the model is real, Grovec can price a live bill of materials from it, run engineering checks against it, and export it to formats a fabricator or 3D printer will accept.
It checks its own work before you see it
Every model runs through a verify loop: interference and motion checks for assemblies, topology and geometry validation, structural FEA where loads matter, and design-rule checks for boards. If a part can’t be built, Grovec tells you why and fixes it — instead of handing you a model that fails in the real world.
Manufacturability gates (minimum feature size, round-trip export verification) mean what you export actually builds.
Export to the tools the pros use
Round-trip-verified export to Revit, AutoCAD, IFC, STEP, DXF, URDF, MJCF, 3MF, glTF, Gerber and Excellon. Hand the file to an architect, a machine shop, a PCB fab, or a 3D printer — it opens and it’s correct.
FAQ
Is the output a real CAD file or just an image?
A real, parametric CAD model with an editable feature tree — exportable to STEP, IFC, DXF, Revit, URDF and more. Not an image or an unbuildable mesh.
Do I need to know CAD?
No. You describe what you want in plain English and the Brain authors the geometry. You can refine it by talking to it, or open the model in the editor if you want fine control.
What can it design?
Houses and buildings, circuit boards, mechanical parts and assemblies, and robots — anything physical. Each comes with a real bill of materials.
Is there a free version?
Yes. You can start designing for free and upgrade when you need more.
